I was clearing out the bedroom getting it ready to decorate when I unearthed my old train set. This was given to me as a christening present so, like me, it is getting on a bit but, unlike me, it is beautifully preserved!
There are a few references to the set, a Triang Railways RS 29, on the internet, mainly on auction sites (it’s worth under £100). Made in the mid-sixties as a starter set it served me well for many years and is now being kept ready to hand on to the first grandchild. No pressure boys!
