Life's about experiences. These are mine.
And this is what Crowded House look like when at Hammersmith last night. Yes I was back to see them once again and for the last time on this tour (probably). Once again they were great, playing some unusual tracks (“Recurring Dream” anyone?), as well as plenty of crowd pleasers. However, unlike Oxford, there was …
Crowded House are always good for a laugh when live and last night at the Oxford Apollo was no different. They (eventually) played a good mix of new, unreleased until Monday, songs and older stuff. I was a little concerned as the first 2/3rds were from the last few albums but as time went on …
It seems that presidential style election debates are all the rage in the UK this year and last night I got to see one – regrettably not THE leaders debate but a similar event that was being held in each BBC region last night and televised. Actually it was more like Question Time than the …
The UK has been basking in unseasonably fine weather for the last couple of weeks. There has certainly been no sign of the “April showers” and the forecasts are suggesting that it is going to stay dry for a little while longer yet. This has led to us being able to go to Centreparcs for …

Now I know that “aviation security” or terrorism as it is called outside of airports, is important but I have never considered jokes as “a threat to commit an unlawful interference …
The final day of our holidays and another hot and steamy day in Hong Kong. We decided to spend the day away from the city and get a bit of culture with a visit to the Po Lin Monastery & Big Buddha. This was a trip on the MTR (Hong Kong’s underground) followed by a …
We seem to have found ourselves a great hotel here in Hong Kong, well I say “we” but the credit should go to Trailfinders if I am honest. Not only is it well positioned with a great room overlooking the harbour, it also has free wifi, breakfast included and a HK$100 allowance for the mini …
So our final day in Melbourne and Australia was spent packing up all our stuff and making Grant and Sharon’s house look respectable before we left the country. We have had a great couple of weeks, seen some fantastic things and caught up with our best friends who we now won’t see again (other than …
